We believe every child arrives curious, capable, and ready to explore. Our classrooms are built around that belief — hands-on materials, true multi-age communities, and teachers trained to guide rather than direct, so each child can discover their own potential at their own speed.

A path for every age, 8 weeks to 8 years

Every classroom is a prepared environment — sized, paced, and stocked with materials for exactly where your child is right now.

8 wks – 18 mo

Infant

A gentle introduction to Montessori life for infants and their families, built around trust, routine, and sensory discovery.

18 mo – 3 yrs

Toddler

A prepared environment where young children learn, play, and grow through hands-on independence, one small step at a time.

3 – 5 yrs

Primary

Self-motivation at the core, as children build focus, order, and a genuine love of discovery through real Montessori materials.

5 – 6 yrs

Kindergarten

Hands-on activities, play-based learning, and social interaction that prepare children for the years of school ahead.

Our Story

Grown organically, one family at a time

Sunset Montessori Community opened its doors in 2011 as a small alternative to traditional, overpopulated daycare. We've grown the same way we teach — organically, at our own pace — while staying true to what made us different from day one: a real community, not just a classroom.

We employ seven teachers, all with genuine Montessori backgrounds, and we still greet families by name at drop-off.

Even our newest team member has four legs — meet Splinty, our resident classroom pup-in-training, who greets returning families most mornings.
